TMMTMQ – Chapter 5

 

Probably because the people outside was afraid that Gong Qingyao would not open the door, the people outside shouted, "Police, please open the door."
 
Gong Qingyao got dressed and opened the door, only to found Cheng Lei knocking on the door, holding his police card. Perhaps Cheng Lei didn't expect Gong Qingyao would be the one to open the door, so he hurriedly packed his ID, "It's you."
 
Gong Qingyao nodded.
 
"Have you heard any movement next door?" Cheng Lei asked.
 
Gong Qingyao calculated the time clearly in her mind, and then said, "There was no noise half an hour ago."
 
The implication was that the movement next door only started half an hour ago. Cheng Lei nodded. This was the time when the waiter discovered the victim. Then she received a call from Cheng Lei.
 
"To tell you good news, Zhou He and Liu Mei have been sentenced to life," said Cheng Lei on the phone.
 
It turned out to be only life sentence, Gong Qingyao let out a faint mutter.
 
Hearing that Gong Qingyao was not as happy as expected, Cheng Lei on the other end of the phone touched his nose, "Actually, it's pretty good to be judged indefinitely."

It turned on and off, and the numbers in the elevator jumped up from the fourth floor, rushing to one hundred in a short while. The Holiday Hotel only has twelve floors.
 
Gong Qingyao stood quietly in the center of the elevator. After reaching 100, the number of the elevator began to drop again, and soon stopped at the negative eighteenth floor, "Is it enough?"
 
The last word fell, and then the sound "ding" could be heard. With this sound, the elevator door opened, and the originally bright corridor was dark like the night. People could hear the cry of female voices from a distance.
 
Gong Qingyao stretched out her hand to take out a yellow talisman, and the female voice suddenly screamed, "Ah, ah, master, please spare my life."
 
"You still have a life?" Gong Qingyao asked.
 
The female ghost choked, and after a while, a light flashed in her eyes, "You can see me? Can you hear me?"

 
Gong Qingyao said, "I see that you haven't hurt any human yet, so go and reincarnate."
 
The female ghost floated to Gong Qingyao and knelt down, "Master, please help me, I don't want to go to reincarnation."
 
Gong Qingyao noticed that there was a heavy resentment on the female ghost, no wonder even though she was a new ghost she could already control the elevator. This female ghost was the person who stayed next door to Gong Qingyao yesterday. Gong Qingyao stared at the female ghost. She remembered what Cheng Lei had just said. There were no signs of suicide and homicide in the room, and there was no abnormality in the forensic report. It seemed that someone directly hooked her soul out. Gong Qingyao said, "Come with me."
 
The female ghost hurriedly followed Gong Qingyao and floated behind her, and the dark corridor immediately lit up after the ghost left.
 
Walking into Gong Qingyao's room, the female ghost was surprised again, "So you stay next to me, were you not afraid of the big movement yesterday?"

Lu Qianqian was so sad when she heard that her parents had already arrived in S City. If she was still a human, Lu Qianqian was probably crying rain by now. Gong Qingyao silently walked to the bathroom, wanting to gave Lu Qianqian a bit alone time.
 
After a while, there was a knock on the door. Cheng Lei brought the two elders over. Father Lu and Mother Lu had never seen Gong Qingyao before. After seeing the little girl, Father Lu was first stunned and then a little puzzled.

 
Cheng Lei looked at Gong Qingyao. He knew that if Gong Qingyao did not give a reasonable explanation today, he would probably be skinned by the two elders.
 
Gong Qingyao asked Cheng Lei to close the door, and then took out two talismans she had made prior, "You only have one minute." After speaking, she pasted each talisman on the forehead of Father Lu and Mother Lu.

"Let's all go." Gong Qingyao said.
